Flying via Japan can be costly and time-consuming. Right now China Air has flights to Okinawa from Taiwan but if Japan’s largest discount carrier starts offering int’l flights, that could be a good sign for more opportunities to get good deals and also more time options. Skymark is also considering flights to South Korea, the Philippines, or Hong Kong.
